Their last words were to me were to tell me he would not be admitted to the hospital. He did get admitted and I will NEVER return to Lakepoint EVER! The neglect was horrible and their insistence that "it's only a little infection" was terrifying to me.

I was looking for a higher level of care for her, so I visited them. It was much smaller than where she was at the time, but I felt that they could provide her a higher level of care. The person that did the tour was the head of the clinical staff, and she appeared very engaged and very involved. They said that they provide activities. I visited the assisted but it's a combination because they have only one building so they combined everybody of various levels. I'm fine with that, except that my father-in-law is old also and probably not too kind. He didn't like it because we don't see a good expression from him. We wanted people with the same level of ability. The only thing was that it's just mixed level of abilities of the patients or the residents.
